Aura Biska Mistletoe Brandy (Croatian: Aura Biska – Rakija od Biske iz Hrvatske) is one of the most traditional and well-known herbal brandies from Croatia. This special mistletoe brandy is based on a high-quality apple pomace distillate, refined with hand-picked mistletoe leaves from the trees on the slopes surrounding the Cicarija region. The recipe dates back over 2,000 years and is strictly guarded – it is passed down only within the family line.

With an alcohol content of 37.5% ABV, Aura Biska combines ancient healing traditions with modern distilling skills. In addition to mistletoe, four other herbs are used, which, when combined, create a particularly harmonious and earthy character. This pomace brandy with herbs is not only a regional cult product, but also a natural home remedy: It is said to have healing properties against arteriosclerosis and high blood pressure.
