Riise's discoveries of new plants and herbs in the West Indies continue to shape the characteristic taste of the premium rums to this day. A.H. The selection and special treatment of the barrels are crucial for the creation of the A.H. Riise Non Plus Ultra Very Rare Spirit Drink. By charring old barrels for a longer period, the blend can penetrate deeper into untouched layers of wood. This method, combined with carefully selected base rums, gives the blend its distinctive taste. The uniqueness is evident in every detail, from the deep dark color to the complex aroma, which is presented in a specially designed, multi-faceted bottle.
This spirit drink has been made according to a new recipe in which the sugar content has been reduced. This means that it is less sweet than before, which allows the natural aromas and nuances to be better brought out.
Only 3,000 bottles are made by hand each year.
