Around the 1840s, the pharmacist Albert Heinrich was not only allowed to open a pharmacy but also to produce alcohol.
After production, the A.H. Riise Family Reserve is stored in oak casks personally selected by the Master Distiller using the solera method.
Before the A.H. Riise Family Reserve was made available to the public, it was reserved exclusively for the heirs and successors of A.H. Riise.
