The 1792 FULL PROOF whiskey is produced at the Barton 1792 Distillery in Bardstown. Bardstown is located in Kentucky, the center and heart of Borubon manufacturing.

The distillery has approximately 196 acres and 29 warehouses. The year 1792 in the distillery's name refers to the celebratory year when Kentucky joined the United States of America.

This whiskey undergoes a distinct filtration process. The typical chill filtration is not used.
