1423 ApS - World Class Spirits is a premium spirits importer and distributor founded in 2008 and headquartered in Denmark. Since 2018, we have also been present with our subsidiary in Germany. S.B.S stands for Single Barrel Selection, which means that in this 1423 product line, only one barrel is filled for each product. Each barrel is selected according to strict criteria and offered in a limited number of bottles. The entire S.B.S range comprises only classic rums, no blends, in order to emphasize the versatility of rums as well as their unique quality and exquisite taste.

Single Barrel Selection Barbados 2013 is an exclusive single cask rum based on molasses and distilled in both column and pot stills in 2013. This special rum matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and port wine barrels, giving it exceptional depth and complexity.

Bottled in August 2024 with a strong alcohol content of 52% by volume, the S.B.S Barbados is limited to just 389 bottles.
