Dalmore Whisky: A Stag’s Legacy in Every Sip

Dalmore Whisky: A Stag’s Legacy in Every Sip
Discover the rich heritage of Dalmore whisky, crafted in the picturesque Scottish Highlands since 1839! 🥃 Founded by Alexander Matheson, this distillery has a storied past, once owned by the Mackenzie clan, whose stag emblem adorns every bottle.

🦌 According to legend, in 1263, Colin of Kintail, the head of the Mackenzie clan, saved King Alexander III during a hunt by slaying a stag with his sword. In gratitude, the king granted him the right to display the majestic stag’s head with twelve points on their family crest, a symbol that continues to adorn every bottle of Dalmore whisky today.

🔍 Dalmore whisky is produced using traditional double distillation in copper pot stills, some of which date back to 1874. Unique designs allow for richer, more robust spirits, while special cooling systems ensure meticulous purification. Dalmore The Quintet is a limited edition single malt aged in bourbon casks, followed by five different types of casks: Cabernet Sauvignon, 10-year-old Port, 30-year-old Sherry, Muscatel, and Malmsey Madeira.

🍏 Flavor: The whisky is round and full-bodied, with hints of red apple, mint, cinnamon stick, iris, and old oak. The long, persistent finish reveals accents of cigar box and espresso coffee.

🌼 Aroma: Multidimensional and generous, the whisky unfolds with notes of dried pineapple, floral honey, and stewed strawberry plum.
