Xibal Gin is produced using an artisanal distillation process in copper stills. For its production, specific botanicals are used that have their origins in Mesoamerican history in order to emphasize the cultural links to Guatemalan origins and the pre-Columbian Mayan culture.
The botanicals selected include bay leaf, lemon, black pepper, orange, St. John's wort and cardamom.
This approach aims to create a link between ancient Mayan culture and modern Guatemalan culture.
