The Wieninger winery in Vienna practices biodynamic and natural viticulture, characterized by the highest quality, respect for nature and sustainable practices. The vineyards on the Bisamberg and Nussberg, separated by the Danube, offer different soils and climatic conditions, resulting in a diverse range of vibrant wines that reflect the unique character of the Vienna region.

These wines, which are produced through close-to-nature cultivation and a lot of manual work, enjoy international recognition and are exported to 45 countries worldwide. Fritz Wieninger, who gained valuable experience abroad at the age of twenty and learned about new technologies and wine styles, has over 30 years of experience and consistently pursues the guiding principle of quality.

As a pioneer of modern Viennese wine, Fritz Wieninger is regarded as the doyen of Viennese wine. He played a decisive role in the revival of the Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC and has been a member of the Wiener Traditionsweingueter, which classifies Erste Lagen in Vienna, since 2018.

Wieninger Wiener Gemischter Satz is an excellent cuvee made from Gruener Veltliner, Pinot Blanc, Welschriesling and Neuburger. The vines thrive on a diverse combination of shell limestone, sandy, loamy and loess soils, which give the wine its special complexity. After careful selection of the grapes, the wine is fermented in steel tanks and then spends several weeks on the fine lees. It is then filtered and bottled, which is sealed with a screw cap.

With a maturation potential until 2030, the Wieninger Wiener Gemischter Satz can develop its aromas perfectly.
