The WhistlePig distillery was created from a farm that was acquired in 2007. After a renovation, it was opened in 2015. Master Distiller Dave Pickerell designed copper stills especially for the distillery, which are now in operation 7 days a week.
The aim of the distillery is to produce the best and finest rye whiskey in the world.
A matured rye whiskey from Alberta, Canada, the Whistelpig 10 Years Old Sraight Rye Whiskey is a blend which is matured in new American oak barrels and receives a bourbon barrel finish.
