Chateau d'Esclans, a wine estate in picturesque Provence and located north-east of St. Tropez, embodies the spirit and elegance of the region. Since Sacha Lichine took it over in 2006, it has been run with the ambitious vision of producing the finest rose wines in the world and initiating a renaissance of rose. Indeed, the Chateau is now famous for its Whispering Angel, a rose from the estate's sixteenth harvest, which has gained worldwide recognition.

The harvest at Chateau d'Esclans is a process that combines tradition and precision: it takes place every year in September, with work being carried out from sunrise to midday to avoid the intense midday heat. Only the ripest grapes are selected and carefully placed in small 10 kg crates, a measure that ensures that pressure on the grapes on the ground is minimized and their integrity is preserved until processing. For the Whispering Angel, harvesting is done mechanically and preferably at night to take advantage of the coolness of the night and preserve the freshness of the grapes.

Whispering Angel Cotes de Provence Rose is made from a carefully balanced blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle (Vermentino) grapes. The wine is the result of exquisite processing of the best free-run juices and the pressed juice, which are fermented and matured at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks.

Chateau d'Esclans with its Whispering Angel embodies the dedication and passion for first-class rose and contributes significantly to the worldwide appreciation of this type of wine.
