The Vina Real Especial Rioja Gran Reserva DOC 2017 is a masterfully aged red wine from the renowned Rioja Alavesa and comes from the cellars of the prestigious Compania Vinicola del Norte de Espana (CVNE). With an alcohol content of 13.5% vol. and the long aging period in wood and bottle typical of a Gran Reserva, this wine combines tradition, elegance, and depth in impressive harmony. It embodies the essence of a classic Rioja style – complex, multi-layered, yet drinkable and approachable.

The blend consists predominantly of Tempranillo, complemented by Graciano, Mazuelo, and Garnacha, which together provide structure, fruit, and aromatic diversity. After a careful hand-harvest, vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, followed by a minimum of 24 months of aging in French and American oak barrels.
