The Transcontinental Rum Line, TCRL for short, was born out of a fascination for the historic sea voyages on which rum barrels were transported between the New World, America, and the Old World, Europe. These voyages were not only used for trade, but also for cultural exchange and the spread of rum as a globally prized distillate.

With the introduction of Australia as the latest destination, the Transcontinental Rum range is expanding its spectrum to include another multi-faceted flavor dimension. This rum, which has its origins in high-quality molasses, undergoes a carefully monitored maturation process. Initially, the rum spends 5 years in ex-bourbon barrels under the climatic conditions of Australia, which not only gives it a rich color, but also a complex taste profile. It is then matured for a further 2 years in ex-Cognac barrels in Europe, which refines its aromas and gives it additional depth.

A special feature of this rum is the absence of artificial coloring during bottling. This underlines the Transcontinental Rum Line's commitment to authenticity and quality. The combination of traditional ageing methods, the selection of barrels and the natural character of the rum makes each bottle a testament to artisanal excellence and historic travel culture.
