The Miguel Torres winery is located in Vilafranca del Penedes, Spain. Since its foundation, the company has been growing year by year. Today, the winery covers more than 1,300 hectares of vineyards. The special wines are sold in more than 150 countries and have gained a high reputation worldwide.
This wine is made from grapes of the Gewuerztraminer variety as well as Muscatel de Alejandria. After the hand harvest of the fully ripe grapes, they are taken to the press house where they are selected and crushed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Then begins the aging for several months on fine lees before bottling.
