The Miguel Torres winery is located in Vilafranca del Penedes, Spain. Since its foundation, the company has been growing year by year. Today, the winery covers more than 1,300 hectares of vineyards. The special wines are sold in more than 150 countries and have gained a high reputation worldwide.
Torres Salmos was produced by Bodega Torres and consists of the grape varieties Garnacha Tina, Carinena as well as Syrah. The vineyards from which the grapes used come are located on slopes on slate soils.
Subsequently, after the harvest of the fully ripe grapes, maceration takes place, which can last up to 25 days. The alcoholic fermentation takes place within 7 to 10 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation then takes place for 15 months in French barriques.
