The Gran Coronas is made from two grape varieties. The Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo.
In the late 60s and early 70s, Miguel A. Torres cultivated the French grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon in Penedes. Today, this wine is considered the hallmark of red Reserva wines.
The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks for 7-8 days. The temperature of 28-29°C is constantly controlled.
