The Tommasi winery covers 40 hectares and is located in Pedemonte, in the historic Valpolicella region of Italy. The family estate was founded in 1902 and is currently managed by Dario Tommasi in the fourth generation. His 3 brothers also help diligently in the cultivation, cellar and distribution. Today, the winery owns 135 hectares of vines.
The Tommasi Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico is a blend of four Valpolicella grape varieties. The winery uses the best ripened grapes for production and allows them to dry on open racks over the winter. It is then aged for three years in oak barrels and one year in bottle.
