The Glenlivet distillery is the first licensed whiskey distillery in Scotland. Founded in 1824, the company is now the largest malt distillery in Scotland, producing around 12 million liters of whiskey a year.
The Glenlivet Single Cask Carn na Bruar is named after the hill of the same name in the Scottish Highlands, which is a landmark on one of the original smuggling routes from the Glenlivet Valley.
From a single Spanish sherry butt cask selected for its exceptional quality from The Glenlivet Lager, The Glenlivet Single Cask "Carn na Bruar" has been bottled after 16 years of maturation without chill filtration.
