This blend is composed of molasses rum distilled in both pot and column stills. Locally grown spices are added and macerated to give the rum its distinctive flavors.
In addition, refinement with ex-merlot wood fines takes place. An eight-year-old molasses rum from Barbados (Bajan-Foursquare) is also integrated into the blend for added depth and maturity.
After careful production, the rum is aged for 60 days in old ex-bourbon barrels. This storage time allows the rum to develop its full flavor qualities.
