Champagne Taittinger is a world-renowned champagne house, family-owned since 1734. This champagne house includes 260 hectares of vineyards. The house is located in Saint-Nicaise in Rems, in the chalk cellar the champagnes ripen 18 meters below ground. This dates back to Roman times.
This Taittinger is made from 100% Chardonnay wines, the largest growing areas on the famous Cote des Blancs.
To give the champagne a rounded taste, 5% is aged for four months in oak barrels.
