Suze Liqueur is based on the traditional original recipe. This probably dates back to the 19th century. Pablo Picasso immortalised a Suze bottle on one of his collages from 1912.
The aromatic complexity of this aperitif is a result of the combination of fresh gentian and many other aromatic plants.
