Steinhorn Fee Absinth Bitter 60% Vol. 0,5l
Martin and Johannes Steiner have inherited the production of alcohol.
Their ancestors had already tried their hand at distilling schnapps and made it as far as the capital of the former empire with their bottlings.
"Strong and graceful like a unicorn" - Steiner brothers
Martin Steiner lived in Prague during his studies, during which time he also became acquainted with absinthe culture. The inspiration for the absinthe bitters came during a walk in Ruppersthal. It was here that the brothers discovered the plant Artemisia, also known as wormwood.
This gave them the idea of trying their hand at making absinthe. The brothers grew the wormwood in their own herb garden and dried it in the attic. Together with aniseed and fennel, as well as other botanicals, they created Absinthe Bitter.
Wormwood from the surrounding area is used for the absinthe. The absinthe contains no artificial colorants and is colored with hyssop.
