Since 1999, the Slyrs distillery has been producing the first and only single malt whisky from Upper Bavaria using the classic rough and free-fired method.
The name "Slyrs" is a pseudo-Gaelic verbalization of "Schliersee".
The Bavarian whisky distillery Slyrs announces a new, exquisite bottling with the Slyrs Bavarian Peat. This single malt is an expressive peated whiskey that convinces with its smoky toasty aromas as well as perfectly balanced notes of vanilla, pears and salty caramel.
