This Ardlair whisky, made from malted barley and water, is characterized by its clear and natural origin. Without any smoke, it develops gently on the palate and benefits from a strong 63.6%, which brings out its aromas perfectly. Maturing in sherry casks, the whisky takes on subtle, sweet and spicy notes that have been created without any artificial color additives. The strong amber color is the result of 13 years of maturation, as the whisky was distilled on 27.01.2011 and bottled on 16.08.2024.
It is particularly noteworthy that this Ardlair does not come from the Ardmore distillery, but from Signatory Vintage, an independent bottler known for its special single cask bottlings. As it is a single cask, the number of bottles is limited to just 610, which makes this bottling particularly exclusive.
