This Glenburgie comes from the renowned independent bottler Signatory Vintage. Andrew Symington, who founded the company in the late 1980s, has always maintained close relationships with the distilleries and now owns an impressive stock of over 10,000 casks. This particular bottling is part of the Signatory 100 Proof Edition, which is known for its high-proof, uncolored whiskies. However, this series not only offers whiskies with a high alcohol content, but also long-matured, affordable bottlings.

The Glenburgie 15 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an outstanding bottling from this series. This exclusive whisky was bottled in 2008 after 15 years of maturation in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts.

The complete maturation in these sherry casks gives the Glenburgie a remarkable depth and a rich variety of aromas. It impresses with its complex flavours, which are characterized by the intense sweetness of the Oloroso sherry.
