The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roer region in the municipality of Piobesi d'Alba, a few kilometers from Alba.
The special thing about Grappa Sibona is that it has a special distilling license, the No. 1 of the UTF.
This special Grappa Riserva, distilled from Muscat grape marc and other Piedmontese grape varieties, was first aged for a long time in oak barrels and then refined for a few months in barrels from the island of Madeira, in which 'Madeira' from the most famous wineries was previously matured.
This special ageing process in Madeira barrels, which has already been successfully applied to whisky barrels, was pioneered by us at Sibona Grappa and brings with it outstanding quality characteristics.
