Cantine Scolari was founded in 1929 and is located in Valtenesi, on the western shore of Lake Garda. The land was already highly praised by the poets of antiquity for its fertility and microclimate. This region is particularly suitable for the cultivation of vineyards, olive trees and lemon orchards.
The grapes for Scolari Lugana DOC are harvested in late September/early October. A soft pressing, a static cold clarification, a slow fermentation at controlled temperature and an aging in steel tanks take place.
