The Salzl Seewinkelhof winery, located in the Seewinkel region in Austria's Burgenland, is known for its high-quality wines, which reflect the unique terroir and climate. The nearby Lake Neusiedl influences the Pannonian climate, providing warm and sunny conditions during the growing season and creating ideal conditions for winegrowing.
Run by the third generation, the winery is deeply connected to the land. The vineyards consist of loamy sand and gravel, which gives the wines a special minerality. The focus is on red wines, particularly the local Zweigelt grape variety, which is matured for 12 months in small oak barrels to develop a harmonious structure and complex aromas.
The winery attaches great importance to sustainable viticulture through organic fertilization, minimal use of pesticides and careful water management in order to achieve a balance between nature and viticulture and produce high-quality wines.
