Ron San Miguel Rum comes from one of the few rum cellars that exist in Ecuador. This rum cellar is located in Cuenca, a city in the Ecuadorian southern Andes. Due to its location at an altitude of 2,538 meters, the sugar spirits maturing there are kept at an exceptional humidity of 85-95 percent.
Ron San Miguel Solera Ron de Altura is a remarkable rum that is produced in Ecuador under carefully controlled conditions. It is based on high-quality molasses from local sugar cane, which is distilled in column stills. The exceptional maturation takes place using the solera method at an impressive altitude of 2,538 meters above sea level, where the rum is stored in fine oak barrels.
With an alcohol content of 40%, the Ron San Miguel is bottled without added sugar or colorants, allowing its pure and unadulterated character to shine through perfectly.
