In 1753 soldiers placed a memorial stone with the inscription "Rest and be thankful" at the top of Glen Croe. For climbers, this memorial stone is a traditional resting place.
The Rest & Be Thankful Assemblage #01 is a blend of pot and column still rums from Jamaica aged in Scotland. In 2005 distilled New Yarmouth and Long Pond Pot Still Rum, in 2007 Clarendon Estate Columns and Pot Still Rum, and in 2008 LIuidas Vale Pot Still Rum.
Maturation takes place for 13 years in American Oak barrels.
Bottling is done without artificial colors, without added sugar and not chill-filtered.
