The Polz winery is located in southern Styria. The geographical location of the winery is ideal for viticulture. The good balance between hours of sunshine and rainfall as well as the nature of the soil are crucial for the production of high-quality wine.
Johann Polz laid the foundation stone for the Polz winery 109 years ago and it is now run by the fourth generation. The Polz family attaches particular importance to sustainability: insecticides are not used at all and pruning, which has been practiced for decades, is carried out very gently.
The fully ripe grapes are harvested by hand.
