The Penfolds winery is one of the oldest wineries in Australia. It is located in the south of Australia and comprises the growing regions Barossa Valley, Eden Valley, Coonawarra and McLaren Vale.
This elegant dense white wine from Australia is made from the Chardonnay grape variety. The vines are rooted in soils of clay, sand as well as brown earth. After harvesting, the fully ripe grapes are sorted and carefully crushed, followed by fermentation in small wooden barrels and French oak barrels.
Due to the little residual sugar, this Penfolds Koonunga Hill Chardonnay delights with its elegant dry flavor.
