The name of the distillery "Kurayhoshi" means something like "life is good".
Kurayoshi Distillery has a wide annual temperature range, so the maturation of the whiskey is fast in comparison. Therefore, it is not an exaggeration to say that this whiskey is created by the barrel and nature.
This blend of Matsui was launched for the Japanese market in 2019.
Homemade malt whiskies and purchased grain whiskies from Scotland are used, which are blended together after maturation, which takes place in American white oak barrels.
The fresh underground water of Mount Daisen provides a soft, smooth taste in this light and refreshing whisky.
