The roots of the Maschio distillery go back to the 19th century, when the family built its first distillery in San Pietro di Feletto, Italy. Beniamino Maschio, who described himself as a "lover of monovarietal grappa", refined his distillery art over decades, which is now continued by his children Alessandro and Flavia.

Made from selected Pinot grapes, this fine wine matures for nine years in carefully selected barrique barrels. This extended storage gives the grappa an extraordinary depth and complexity that sets it apart from many other distillates.
