The Francoli family distillery in Ghemme, Italy, has been in existence since 1875 and is one of the largest and most famous distilleries in Piedmont. It was the first grappa distillery that had no impact on the environment and ensures a neutral CO2 balance. The heat for the distillation process, for example, is obtained from vegetable fuels. The company has also participated in the project "Impatto Zero", they have achieved a protected area of 340,000 square meters in Costa Rica's forests.
Luigi Francoli Grappa del Piemonte La Visione di Luigi La Riserva is made from Nebbiolo, Barbera and Moscato grape varieties. The aging takes place in wooden barrels.
