The 2014 vintage had to prove itself over the summer months. Due to the late arrival of spring, the vines did not come into full bloom until the beginning of July. However, the many hours of sunshine in the summer made up for the small delay. When the grapes were harvested in October, they were perfectly ripe. Thus, this vintage still became a very special drop.
Brut Vintage is made from 71% Pinot Noir and 29% Chardonnay, 39% of which is aged in oak barrels. It is aged for an average of 4 years with lees aging and at least 6 months after degorgement to complete its maturity.
