With an alcohol content of 12.5% ABV, this fine sparkling wine from France is the 246th cuvée since the house was founded in 1776 – a stylistic manifesto that combines freshness, depth, and elegance.
Created in 2012 as a further development of the previous Brut Premier, the Collection 246 is based on the 2021 harvest – an outstanding vintage with exceptional balance and natural freshness. The blend is complemented by the house's own Perpetual Reserve, which has been cultivated continuously since 2012, as well as reserve wines from the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 vintages, aged in French oak. This triple composition gives the champagne excitement, depth, and aromatic complexity.
The grape variety composition is precisely balanced: 54% Chardonnay brings freshness and elegance, 35% Pinot Noir provides structure and power, and 11% Meunier rounds out the profile with fruitiness and richness.
