The Lackner Tinnacher winery is a family business that has been producing wine since 1770. The vines grow in six different vineyards in beautiful Styria. Wilma and Fritz Tinnacher have been running the winery for 30 years, and in 2013 it was taken over by their daughter Katharina Tinnacher.
The high quality of the wines can be attributed to generations of experience.
Lackner Tinnacher Sauvignon Blanc is harvested from grapes from six different plots planted with vines aged between 10 and 25 years. The harvest time was set individually for each vineyard between mid and late September and the grapes were harvested by hand. After a maceration period of 18 hours, spontaneous fermentation took place in steel tanks (75%) and in large, neutral wooden barrels (25%). The wine then matured for nine months on the fine lees. With ageing potential until 2027 and a natural cork stopper, this Sauvignon Blanc offers an incomparable pleasure experience.
