Vinarija Benkovac only really became known in 2005, when new vineyards were planted in Korlat near Benkovac, covering an area of 103 hectares with 530,000 vines.
The cuvee is made up of the Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah grape varieties. Each of these varieties is vinified separately before being matured in oak barrels to give them the finishing touches and a hint of spice.
