Kilchoman is the first distillery built on Islay, today it is one of the last independent distilleries on Islay.
The Casado bottling is married in large tanks for Portuguese red wine. The whiskey undergoes maturation in bourbon barrels for 6 years before receiving its 2-year finish in Portuguese red wine casks.
This is a limited bottling of 12,900 bottles.
