Kavalan SOLIST Single Malt Whisky Port Cask 59,4% Vol. 0,7l in Giftbox

The Kavalan Distillery in Taiwan was founded in 2005 by T.T. Lee, who is president of the Taiwanese food conglomerate King Car Group. His greatest wish was to open his own whisky distillery in Taiwan, which prompted him to launch this ambitious project.

Kavalan is the name of the Yilan region, which lies south-east of the capital Taipei and is characterized by its excellent water quality. In Yilan, there is plenty of cold spring water flowing through Snow Mountain, which makes this location particularly attractive.

The Kavalan Distillery's Solist range includes specially selected casks from the master blenders, which are known for their individual character and fine quality. This whisky is matured in Portuguese port wine casks, which gives it a unique aroma.
