The K & K Kirnbauer winery, a traditional family business in Blaufraenkischland, is dedicated to producing exquisite red wines on its 40 hectares of vineyards. Here, where the sun shines 300 days a year, grapes from the best vineyards in Deutschkreutz thrive and are triple-sorted before fermentation. The wines mature in selected barrique barrels, which deepen their characteristic taste.

With a deep commitment to sustainability, the winery cultivates its vines hand-picked and without herbicides or insecticides. This environmentally conscious philosophy continues in the vegan wines, which also underline the winery's sustainable certification.

The cuvee "Das Phantom" combines the grape varieties Blaufraenkisch, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The grapes come from heavy, sandy loam soil, which shapes the aroma and structure of the wine. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, after which the wine matures for 18 months in barrique barrels, which promotes malolactic fermentation and harmonizes the tannins. The Phantom has a storage potential until 2040 and is sealed with a natural cork.
