James Eadie founded an important brewery in 1854. His father bequeathed him his own recipe for Scotch whisky.
Three things were required for his blend: exceptional whiskies, carefully selected wood and years of experience.
Today, James Eadies Whisky is being revived. Whiskeys from selected distilleries, which James Eadie personally bought, are used for the production.
This whiskey matures for 13 years and then receives a 17-month finish in First Fill American Oak Malmsey Madeira Hogsheads.
The bottling is at cask strength, without coloring and without cold filtration.
