After years of training in Europe and California, Hillinger bought 12 hectares of vineyards, laying the foundations for his successful winery in Jois, which opened in 2004. The company expanded to include several wine stores and bars throughout Austria and a long-standing business relationship with the Constantia Glen winery in South Africa. In 2012, Hillinger was named "Entrepreneur of The Year" by Ernst & Young, underlining his outstanding role in the wine industry.

Hillinger Small Hill White is a finely balanced cuvee consisting of 70% Welschriesling, 20% Sauvignon Blanc and 10% Gelber Muskateller. The wine is matured in stainless steel tanks, which helps to preserve its fresh and lively aromas. After ageing, the wine is carefully bottled and securely sealed with a screw cap. This white wine has a storage potential of 2 to 3 years and is ideal for drinking in the near future.
