The Highland Park Distillery was founded by Magnus Eunson in 1798. Today, The Edrington Group owns the distillery.
It is the northernmost whiskey distillery in Scotland and is located in Kirkwall on the Orkney island of Mainland.
Highland Park's distillery buildings are listed on the Scottish Heritage List and produce around 2.5 million liters of whiskey annually.
The Highland Park Cask Stregth Release No. 3 is an extremely complex whisky, which was distilled with an above-average proportion of peated Orkney malt. The whisky is matured in three different types of casks: First-fill European and American white oak sherry casks and a smaller number of refill casks. The bottling takes place both without chill filtration and without added water or dye.
