A great wine only comes about when the vines feel at home. The family's vineyards are located in Purbach, Breitenbrunn, Winden, Jois, Neusiedl am See, Weiden, Gold, Moenchhof and Podersdorf. Due to the numerous hours of sunshine around Lake Neusiedl, the grapes can develop fully and reflect this intensity in the taste.
The cult wine Salzberg is an exceptional blend of 50% Merlot and 50% Blaufraenkisch. Spontaneously fermented and aged for 30 months in 500-liter oak barrels, it smells breathtakingly of fine noble wood and cherries and is juicy, silky and salty on the palate, as its name promises. It is an icon of top biodynamic wine.
