The Hannes Reeh winery is located in the well-known wine-growing region of Andau, which is close to Lake Neusiedl. With 2400 hours of sunshine, Andau is one of the sunniest places in Austria. The vines grow on gravelly soils and have to make do with very little rainfall (450mm). Hannes Reeh has been solely responsible for the vinification of the wines since 2007. The winemaker is an unconventional man, self-confident and determined in pursuing his plans.
Hannes Reeh Haus & Hof Weissburgunder is made from 100% Pinot Blanc grapes grown on black soil with a gravel content. The white wine is matured and fermented in stainless steel tanks. It has a storage potential until 2028 and is sealed with a screw cap.
