Grappa di Bolgheri Sassicaia Poli 2018 40% Vol. 0,5l in Tinbox

The Poli distillery, founded in 1898 by GioBatto Poli, looks back on a long tradition and a rich history. Today, this family business in the north-eastern Italian municipality of Schiavon, located in the province of Veneto, is run by the four siblings Jacopo, Geampaolo, Barbara and Andrea Poli. The family attaches great importance to preserving traditional methods and producing grappa of the highest quality.

The grappa is made from high-quality Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, which are known for their intense aromas and complex flavor profiles. Distillation is carried out particularly gently in small batches using steam to preserve the fine aromas of the grapes and ensure exceptional purity.

After distillation, the grappa is aged for six months in former Sassicaia wine barrels. These barrels, which previously housed the renowned Italian wine, give the grappa additional depth as well as elegant notes of vanilla, oak and a hint of red fruit. The result is a harmonious and aromatic grappa that reflects the tradition and passion of the Poli distillery in every bottle.
