The Glenfiddich 21 Years Chinese New Year Single Malt Scotch Whisky has been launched as a limited edition to celebrate the Chinese New Year. In a successful collaboration with the renowned Chinese illustrator Yixin Zeng, Glenfiddich has created a total of five exquisitely designed gift boxes. The 2023 edition features a stylish label and gift packaging that presents not only colorful symbols but also a majestic deer motif.
After primary maturation, the Glenfiddich 21 Years Chinese New Year single malt Scotch whisky is transferred to specially selected rum casks that previously contained old Gran Reserva rum from the Caribbean. This additional maturation in rum casks gives this whisky a unique flavor nuance and clearly sets it apart from other whiskies.
