This whiskey is produced by the eponymous distillery Glen Scotia. Founded in 1832, the distillery has been known for fine single malt from Campbeltown for almost 200 years.
The whiskies are produced near the sea, not far from the island of Islay.
The Glen Scotia 21 Years Old matures first in a combination of refill bourbon barrels and refill American Oak hogsheads.
This malt then receives a 6-month finish in oloroso sherry casks.
