The Gesellmann winery is located in Deutschkreuz, in Burgenland. The nearby Lake Neusiedl, significantly influences the climate in this region.
Since 1767, when the winery was first mentioned, it has been passed down from generation to generation. The estate covers 40 hectares.
The harvest of the grapes of No. 32 started in mid-September, first with the grape variety St. Laurent, then Zweigelt and in early October the grape variety Blaufraenkisch. Each grape variety of the red wine was vinified separately. The maceration took place in steel tanks, followed by aging for 24 months in small oak barrels. After blending the grape varieties used, the wine spent another 2 months in large wooden barrels.
